Capital Coating, Inc., a Pennsylvania-based specialty firm within the commercial and industrial coatings space, announced the development of a new division solely focusing on commercial roof care, maintenance, and replacement.

In a March 12 news release announcing the launch, Capital Coating’s new standalone division, Capital Roof Care, began operations in January, specializing in various commercial and industrial roof coatings, painting solutions, and epoxy floor installations. The release added that the new division will manage all new and existing commercial roof care projects for the company’s clients.

Capital Coating said its growth led founder and CEO Mervin Fisher to create the spinoff; Fisher has appointed his son Marlin Fisher, president of Capital Roof Care.

“Our new division will specialize in helping commercial property owners and facilities managers get the most long-term value from their buildings’ roofs,” Fisher said. “Marlin brings many years of experience working with our highly trained technicians, who thoroughly understand the construction and functional aspects of many different roof systems.”

In the news release, Marlin Fisher emphasized that Capital Roof Care is not “just another” roofing company.

“Our in-depth and extensive knowledge ensures we provide thorough inspections to accurately assess [a] roof’s condition, precise diagnosis of issues, and solutions tailored to meet [the] structure’s exact needs,” the younger Fisher said.

“Unlike many roofing contractors, we prioritize roof maintenance and early detection of potential problems. We aim for repairs and restoration over replacement whenever possible,” he added.

Capital Roof Care launched a new website to promote its division — CapitalRoofCare.com — which includes a secure customer portal and a “Report a Leak” page for emergency repair requests. The new outfit offers three annual service plans for facility owners and managers, organization of roof warranty information, regulatory compliance, pre-scheduled maintenance planning, and other benefits.
